Dr. Dawn Fradkin

Dr. Dawn Fradkin earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, and has over 10 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery. After working as an associate small animal veterinarian in San Antonio for 3 years, Dr. Fradkin spent two years providing relief veterinarian services at practices in Bexar, Kendall, and Comal Counties. Dr. Fradkin founded Bergheim Pet Hospital & Clinic in October 2007, and became the first female veterinary hospital owner in Kendall County.

Her active lifestyle includes kayaking the Guadalupe River, riding her Missouri Foxtrotter horses Jamaica and Java, and hunting with her Labrador Retrievers Tess and Kayla. Dr. Fradkin is active in the local veterinary community, and served as continuing education coordinator for the Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County for 3 years. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Boerne Chamber of Commerce, and Hill Country Women in Business.

While at Texas A&M, Dr. Fradkin founded the internationally recognized Aggie Feral Cat Alliance of Texas (AFCAT). The alliance was formed to address the growing problem of feral and stray cats at Texas A&M and set the standard for educating and training veterinary students in humane feral cat management. She has a direct line of communication with Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and local veterinary specialists in every discipline, and always offers whatever services or procedures are in the best interest of your pets. Dr. Fradkin promotes responsible pet ownership and fosters the human-animal bond through honest and personable consultations where pets are viewed and treated as loved family members.

Dr. Mikeline Gladman

Dr. Mikeline Gladman earned her DVM at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, and holds a BS in Marine Biology from Texas A&M Galveston. She is a Texas native raised in Dallas. Dr. Gladman enjoys everything about veterinary medicine, from caring for sick pets to yearly wellness checks. She treats every patient as if it is her own pet, and enjoys communicating with clients to help their pets live longer and healthier lives. In her free time Dr. Gladman enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband Josh have a beautiful newborn daughter named Aubrey, and two dogs named Misty Mae and Trigger.
